Great little bar in the city. I've been a couple times wants to see my friend do stand-up comedy. Just recently I stopped in for a late lunch and was surprised by how good the food was. I ordered the sliders with onion rings special and they were not sliders they were regular size burgers and huge onion rings. I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a night time spot but if you're in the area and you're hungry and don't want to fight a crowd definitely give it a shot.

Had such a blast watching the Eagles game here today! Food was outstanding PLUS they played the Eagles fight song after each touchdown ... which I LOVE!!! A KC fan walked in wearing red fan gear during the Washington game and everyone booed him thinking he was a Commander’s fan - the bartender kindly stopped him and offered him an Eagles jersey - LOL! He declined - no worries, all fans here have respect. He is sitting next to us and having great conversation. The chef takes the menu and food very seriously and it shows!!! The bartenders, Donna and Shawn, are fun, engaging and attentive ambassadors - check them out!

Different Cheesesteak #887. Guest Eaters Mike, Messy Pat, Quiet Mike and the Skin & bones. Cheesesteak guy hanging out with the fellas. Great neighborhood bar. Tommy is in the kitchen and he can cook. This is a slice of cheese and a touch more moisture in meat away from being top tier cheesesteak in the city.

Stopped into Callahan's after a mid-week visit to some Philly sights with the family. It is a nice cozy place with great staff. I was surprised that they didn't have any Irish beer(supply chain issues), but that didn't spoil the visit. The bartender/server (Sean?) was very friendly and cheerful. The chef was also very friendly. The food is very, very good!!! Three of us got burgers which were surprisingly large for the price and just as tasty! One of us got chicken was was equally delicious. Definitely glad we stopped by. Callahan's is a great Irish pub - even without Irish beer!!!

Really great local bar. Super friendly staff and great service. Food is typical bar-food, but always done really well, and at a reasonable price. Love it!

So happy I happened to stumble into this place. The neighborhood bar this area was lacking! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu haven’t had a bad item yet. Usually get the boneless wings. Kelline is one of the nicest people and bartenders you are ever going to come across.
